Tremor Shakes Western City of Touyserkan

HAMEDAN, Hamedan Province A tremor measuring 3.9 degrees on the Richter scale jolted the city of Touyserkan in this western province early on Saturday.
According to the seismological center affiliated to the Geophysics Institute of Tehran University, the tremor occurred at 02:44 hours local time (2314 GMT on Friday).
The epicenter of the quake was somewhere in the north of Touyserkan causing panic among residents, the report added.
It was also felt in the provincial capital of Hamedan.
No report has yet been received on any casualty or damage caused to property.
